Rainforest & Volcano Day

Welcome to our Costa Rican adventure. We are a group of twelve friends that are visiting and exploring the lovely country of Costa Rica. In this episode we visit Mistico Hanging Bridges Park located in La Fortuna close to Arenal Volcano. The park's trails wind through a piece of the nearby rainforest. It is a safe and easy method of accessing a rainforest for everyone in your group. The hanging bridges are a wonderful way to experience the wonder that is a rainforest. We also explored a more challenging local hike that is referred to as the "1968 Eruption Lava Trail." This is definitely a harder and steeper trail than any of the ones found in Mistico Park but it is very doable and the Arenal Volcano view you get at the top is totally worth it. Our final stop of the day was Finca Paraiso Organico. We had a traditional Costa Rican meal there. In addition, we used a sugar cane press to make some fresh guarapo on the spot (it was delish). It was a long day but we had a great time hiking, exploring and drinking guarapo. I hope you enjoy the video!
