Medieval Catalonia

This is the third video of our 2024 Iberian Peninsula series. In this video, we wander the Catalonia area which is full of interesting medieval sites. We visit the village of Rupit and spend some time wandering around. We also visit the most Northern Eastern point in Spain, Cap de Creus, and are very impressed by the location and views. Next, we stroll the waterfront in the town of Cadaques and are delighted by the sights we come across. We also visit the medieval town of Begur and climb the castle ruins to witness some spectacular views atop the castle. Next we visit the ancient city of Girona and are fascinated by the old town and its ambiance. Finally we visit the Roman ruins located at Empúries, where we come face to face with a location that was first founded in 575 BC - this was an absolutely breathtaking site and we enjoyed it immensely. This area of Spain definitely exceeded our expectations. I hope you enjoy the video!
